My Everyday Makeup Essentials

Hello everyone!

For all of you beauty lovers like myself, I think you’re going to like today’s post! Because today I am sharing my every day makeup  essentials. Personally, I love reading other beauty bloggers makeup favorites because I think it is so much fun to know what other people are loving lately.

I enjoy wearing makeup on most days but I definitely don’t have an extensive makeup routine. I can do my daily makeup look in 15-20 minutes, which can easily give me a put together look. In today’s post, I’m not only going to share the details of makeup products that I’m loving and using these days but I am also going to share my thoughts about these products. Please keep reading.

Let’s start with the Facial makeup products first.

Like many other makeup enthusiasts, I, too, like to start my makeup by applying primer after I’m done with my skincare. There are two primers that I am using these days. One is: the POREfessional face primer from Benefit Cosmetics and the other is the Illuminating face primer by Cover | FX. I usually apply the equal amount of both of these primers on my face. I find it perfectly works for my combination skin as it smooths the pores out while providing a velvet finish at the same time.

I wasn’t a ‘foundation’ person until a few years ago. All I preferred to use was either a BB cream or just a face powder for minimum coverage. Its only 2-3 years back that I started using the foundation on a more regular basis. The one I am using currently is  Born This Way by Too Faced in shade Warm beige. This is a medium to full coverage foundation. So for everyday purpose, I only need a pea-size (or even less) amount. Sometimes, I even like to add few drops of face oil to my foundation to get that perfect dewy look.

Next is the Instant Age Rewind Concealer from Maybelline.  I am totally obsessed with this product.  I have dark under-eyes. I could get 12 hours of sleep and my under-eyes will still be dark. That’s just how it is. This concealer works great. The pigmentation is so impressive. Some days I like to use an orange corrector before applying this concealer under my eyes. The shade I use is Sand.

The two blushes that I am loving currently are: Nars Orgasm and Covergirl Cheekers blush in shade 185 True Plum. Both of these blushes have a very good color payoff. I think both these shades are perfect for summer.

I started using this bronzer only a few weeks ago. It’s relatively a new launch by Revlon and its called Skin lights prismatic bronzer. The shade I use is Sunlit Glow. This bronzer has a very beautiful sheen to it. It’s a very impressive drugstore bronzer for spring/summer.

Master Chrome by Maybelline is the first highlighter I have ever owned! I have this highlighter in shade 100 Molten Gold. I am so happy with this highlighter and I absolutely love the way it shows on my skin. If you’re interested to know more about this highlighter then please check this post where you can find the full review of this product.

Eyebrows: Most days I don’t feel the need to do anything to my brows, but sometimes if I want a little extra definition, I use one of my favorite brow products which is Precisely, My brow pencil by Benefit cosmetics. It has a convenient packaging. Whether I need to fill in a few gaps or just add a bit of color, it works just fine.

Eyeshadow: There are two eyeshadow palettes on my current list that I use mostly if I decide to go for an eye makeup. One is Photo Edit Eyeshadow Trio by Smashbox in Snap Queen. I bought this trio while I was on the hunt for a simple, SMALL neutral eyeshadow set that I could travel with but also it has everything I need. I was really happy to find this because of the colors. The other palette which I am loving these days is NYXULTIMATE Shadow Pallete in Ombre. I am absolutely enjoying using this palette during this season because of the vibrant colors this palette has!

Eyeliner: I am using two liners currently. One is by Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on eye pencil in shade Zero which I use mostly on my water line. And the other one is liquid eyeliner from Clinique i.e. Pretty easy liquid eye lining pen. I use this one particularly for lining my eyes and creating the wing. I am in love with both of these products. 24/7 is a (second-time) repurchase and I think nothing else is going to replace it for a long time. I am also enjoying using liquid eyeliner pen as well, as it is so easy to use for people like me who really struggle to create a winged eye 😉

Mascara: The mascara I’m currently using is the one from Burberry. It’s Cat Lashes in Jet Black No.01. The best part is that the wand itself has a curvy hourglass shape with plenty of flexibility. I’m personally a fan of spiky bristles and I found it applies a good amount of product in a single coat without looking overly clumpy, although you could majorly plump them up with a second swipe!

Lipsticks: As for the lipsticks go, there are a couple of shades that are on my everyday list. Please check this post to know more about my favorite everyday lipsticks.

I hope you enjoyed today’s post! I certainly did 🙂 . What makeup products are you loving currently? If you have some recommendations, please share them in comment section. I’d love to read them ❤

Have a great day!

See you soon in the next post. Until then…
