Monthly Favorites: May 2019

Hello everyone!

Its been a while that I’ve shared my favorite products with you guys! So I thought of writing a ‘Monthly Favorites’ post by the end of this month and here I am! All the products I’m mentioning in today’s blogpost are entirely beauty related that I’ve been using from past couple of months now.

Without further ado let’s take a look at this month’s favorites.

Laura MercierFlawless Skin Balancing Crème Cleanser

The first favorite product in my list is ‘Flawless Skin Balancing Crème Cleanser’ by Laura Mercier. I’m using this cream cleanser for more than a month now.

I love this cream cleanser as it moisturizes and hydrates as it cleans. And hydration is one of the most important thing that I look for in my skincare products because of my skin type and the weather I live in. Not only it saves your skin from getting dry but it is really gentle on skin too.

SK-II Facial Treatment Clear Lotion

Second favorite on the list is ‘SK-II Facial Treatment Clear Lotion’. It’s a purifying toning lotion that is to be used as your next step after cleansing, in the skincare routine.

I normally use the Clear Lotion with a cotton pad in a swiping motion across my face, and then follow that up with a day cream and/or sunscreen.

I use this product 3-4 times a week as a part of my morning skincare routine. After using this product for a month now, I definitely see an improvement in my uneven skin tone.

Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate

My skin gets really dry and flaky, specially during the winter season. I’ve been using the Midnight Recovery Concentrate for about a year now. In spite of using it for so long, I never talked about it on the blog, so I thought to add this to my favorites list too.

Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate is basically an oil that you use at night to repair your skin overnight. I use it after removing and washing off my makeup. I put about 3-4 drops of the concentrate on my palm, and apply it on my face. Even though Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate is an oil based product, it is not greasy at all. That’s why I use this product even in Summer time too just to get that extra dewy look on my face.

LANCÔME La Vie Est Belle Rollerball

I love to wear perfumes. But I’m very picky when it comes to choosing a fragrance for myself. Usually when I feel like trying any new fragrance, I like to go for the mini version or travel size of that same perfume, so that I can use it for few weeks/months to actually know that I like it or not.

For this particular perfume, I wanted to give it a try from so long after reading such great reviews about this fragrance. And I purchased this rollerball after trying it in the store. After using it for almost a month now, I can say that this has made a place in my Spring fragrance collection. Not that I have many… but this one is definitely added to the list!

So talking about the fragrance itself, It seems sweet initially,  but it dries down to a lot more deeper, sophisticated and mature scent that will suit just about anyone. It has the smell that you want to wear when you are going to an event or just when you want to feel more feminine. The rollerball is of excellent quality too and I have had no problems with it leaking or not distributing the perfume as it is supposed to.

Sally Hansen’s Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear In Mellow Yellow (New)

Next on the list is this very beautiful Yellow Mustard’y nail polish by Sally Hansen! Recently, Sally Hansen changed the formulas & shades on a few classic colors from their ‘Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear’  line and one of them is ‘Mellow Yellow’.

Mellow Yellow is a beautiful mustard yellow nail polish color that looks opaque in just two coats. I wanted to get a bright (but not in your face bright) yellow for this spring/summer and when I saw this one, I just fell in love with this color immediately. Isn’t it gorgeous? 😉

Jack Black Intense Therapy Lip Balm

Last but not least on the list is this Lip Balm by the brand ‘Jack Black’.

I first started using this lip balm last summer as a sample that I got from Sephora and I immediately fell in love with the quality of this product. This lip balm comes in different scents, has SPF 25, and features ingredients such as avocado oil & Shea butter to hydrate the lips and keep them moisturize for longer hours.

This pretty much wraps up my favorites for this month. Hope you had a wonderful month. What have you been loving this month? Don’t forget to share 🙂

See you soon in the next post. Until then…
