Can’t believe we are officially in Fall! No other season feels more like a fresh start than Fall. And just like in any other season, you may suddenly feel the need to take a long, hard look at your closet and reassess your wardrobe.

2. Houndstooth: Designers are extremely enthusiastic about this print this fall/winter. You’ll see this fabric in almost every form, from coats to suiting!

3. Patent (Vinyl) Bottoms: Fashion bloggers have lived this trend on streets during NYFW this year! It’s an easy and sleek way to make a powerful statement. But if you’re wondering about how to make it work in real life, I’ll suggest to keep it balanced by pairing it with some lightweight tee/blouse.

A Pair of Ankle Boots: Weather it’s leather or suede, block or stiletto heeled, a statement pair of ankle boots is an essential staple this Fall. Although this trend is being pulled from last year, the designers are excited about the popularity of ankle boots more than ever and having fun with their designs.

5. Balloon Sleeve knits: The sleeve renaissance didn’t stop at bells and bubbles. This statement sleeve trend is unique because in this case, the sleeve plays with proportion in a way that’s different to all the other statement sleeves, and which is why you need it.

6. Slogan Tees: T-shirts with ‘slogans’ on them are not a new concept in fashion world, but it has definitely made a place in top 10 fashion trends’ list this year! Ever since, Prabal Gurung presented the models on runway (during fashion week) in slogan tees stating “The future is female,” “I am an immigrant,” “Our minds, our bodies, our power,” “Revolution has no borders,” “Stronger than fear,” “Nothing more, nothing less,” “Awake,” and more; women can’t stop embracing this trend!

7.  Large Statement Earrings: An eye catching pair of statement earrings has taken the lead. Although the idea of “statement jewelry” has been presented for the majority of this year, the earring department has made some true strides. I think including statement jewelry is one of the easiest and chic way to revive your old outfit.

8. Thigh High Boots: Thigh high boots are the real hit of this season. As seen on the runways of Paris and New York, boots have reached new heights. The best way to style these boots are pairing them with chic skirts or dresses, and if you are not a fan of skirts and dresses, then wear them with your favorite pair of skinny jeans.

9. Leopard Anything or Everything: Fall is a perfect time to embrace the fiercer version of ourselves and the best way to channel this spirit is to add a little pop of pattern like “animal print”.

10. Ring Bags: Last but certainly not least, the ring bag trend is everywhere this year. The metal ring is such a fun and fresh update to everyday handbags. This season, rings will become handles! Whether you opt for a cross body bag or for a tote to take to the office, these bags are going to be your next big obsession!
