Left: Fig Right: Meringue
Bite Beauty is a Canadian brand that have gained popularity in no time because of its best quality lip products. This brand is all about better ingredients. I purchased this mini lipstick set for 15$ (USD) from Sephora. It was a limited edition set which might or might not be available anymore. But if you love the shades of these lipsticks, you can still get the standard versions of both shades.
As the name says, this lipstick set is from Bite Beauty’s Amuse Bouche lipstick range which is handcrafted to provide the maximum moisture to the lips. These lipsticks are made with 12 edible oils and triple milled pigments. These lipsticks provide a saturated lip color with weightless coverage and are made from the fresh pressed fruit that adds the citrus flavor to them which you’ll notice after applying.
The texture of these lipsticks is very creamy, smooth and moisturizing. Pigmentation wise, these lipsticks are just wonderful and are opaque in one swipe, not streaky at all. The scent of the lipsticks is something which differentiate them from all the other lipsticks that I have used so far! They smell like a citrusy fruit, and if you just accidentally roll your tongue on your lips, you’ll notice these lipsticks taste very sweet and lemony at the same time. The finish of these lipsticks is somewhere between satin to semi-matte. These lipsticks feel light and very hydrating on the lips. The lasting power of these lipsticks is good, its somewhere between 5 to 6 hours without any budging or bleeding.
Meringue: is a “peachy nude” in color. It’s described as a light-medium, pinky-peach with warm undertones and has a satin sheen. It has mostly opaque coverage with a light-medium consistency.
Fig: is a gorgeous “neutral pink” in color, with a little bit of mauve undertones. It’s not too warm nor too cool. It is described as a nude rose. It’s a light-medium, rosy pink shade with warm undertones and has a satin finish.
Hope y’all are having a great week so far. 🙂
See you soon in the next post. Until then…
