Review: Viktor & Rolf BONBON Eau de Parfum

Viktor and rolf bonbon perfume review

Ever since I tried this perfume on me in a department store, I fell in love with it. It smells sweet (but not too sweet), warm and a bit like candy. Its an effortlessly enchanting fragrance.

bonbon1The bottle is a very unique glass bottle which is wrapped in a luxurious, raspberry-toned box, imprinted with the scent’s black bow and Viktor&Rolf’s signature seal.

The name of the perfume “Bonbon” means “candy”. This bow shaped deep orchid-colored perfume glass bottle is an eye-catching decoration object. In fact it looks like a wrapped candy. It’s feminine, classy and adorable!

Bonbon is a subtly sweet scent with hints of caramel, mandarin and peach. Caramel, actually, is one of the main themes of this scent.

Bonbon perfume review

Fragrance Family:
Floral
Scent Type:
Fruity Florals
Key Notes:
Caramel, Mandarin, Orange Blossom

The key note caramel, surrounded by aromas of mandarin, orange and peach at the top; flowers of orange blossom and jasmine in the heart; and cedar, guaiac wood, sandalwood and amber in the base. The smells of caramel and juicy pineapple in the first top notes hit your nose and then fades into a very sophisticated raspberry note.

It is a long-lasting fragrance. It stays on all day long. I hardly feels the need to re-apply.

BonBon would be a fantastic fragrance all year round with the mix of fruit and caramel as the main features but I think if there was a season to stick to using this fragrance – I would say it’s Spring !

What do you think of this fragrance? Have you tried this one yet? Would love to hear more about it 🙂

Hope you’re enjoying your weekend! See you soon in the next post. 🙂

Until then…
