Review: Sephora Collection Almond Foot Mask

outfits-and-makeup-blog

I am not a very patient person when it comes to sit in the beauty salons for hours and hours to get pampered. I like to do things on my own pace. That’s why when it comes to self-care, I like to take care of myself on regular basis.

Generally, I keep my hands and feet well moisturized most of the time. But sometimes, in harsh weather conditions even the moisturization on regular basis won’t help much! Therefore using a good hand and/or foot mask once in a while wouldn’t be a bad idea at all. What say?

I used a peeling foot mask once, last year (a peeling foot mask where your foot skin starts peeling after 2-3 days of using the mask). The result was good though, the peeling (of skin) process was a little gross to me! So I was little cautious this time whatsoever.

During my search for “not-so-crazy” foot mask, I came across to this ‘Almond foot mask’ from Sephora collection. Its a disposable sock mask soaked in rich formulas to deliver maximum result in 20 minutes. It has active ingredients to nourish the feet that comforts and nourishes dry feet and softens rough areas with almond extract.

The packaging of the actual product is really nice, it doesn’t leak and is super easy to put on/use. Smell is very soothing and pleasant, not too strong. The mask also wasn’t uncomfortable at all. There was no fuss or mess. It definitely moisturized my dry feet well and left them soft and refreshed. However, it won’t fix very dry, callous or cracked heels but it will soothe them. I recommend using this and then a pumice stone to get the ultimate soft feet. The price is $5 (USD) for one pair.

You just have to put the socks (mask) on clean, dry feet and leave socks on for 20 minutes (preferably) or more. After removing the socks, you need to gently massage the excess product into the skin. It doesn’t need any rinse.

(Before using this mask: I stopped moisturizing my feet for three full days, so that I could get the appearance of that dry flaky heels and see the difference after using it.)

Today is the third day after the mask’ing and my feet still feel softer and smooth (Even when I didn’t moisturize them for two full days!)

So thumbs up from my side. I would definitely re-purchase this mask to get that instant luxurious home-spa foot treatment. How about you? Have you tried this foot mask yet? If yes, please share your experience. 🙂

See you soon in the next post. 🙂

Until then…

  1. Honestly, I could not have found this post at a better time! I was literally just saying earlier how neglected my feet are right now, this would be perfect to rejuvenate them. So, thank you! Lovely post too x
