Can’t believe its the end of 2016 already! 😀

It’s the last week of this year and so as this post (I mean… last post of the year 😉 ).

Since its end of the month, so this post has to be my this month’s favorites.

For me It was a great month for monthly favorites and I can’t wait to share them with you!

Soap & Glory Scrub Of Your Life

Body scrubs are such an important part of my winter skincare. Skin gets more flaky during this season. So I prefer to use a good quality body scrub once or twice a week for silky smoothness.

I tried this scrub for the first time and I really liked it!

This scrub is a mixture of tiny pink beads and colourless grains in a thick, clear and colourless gel. The fine scrubby particles are great at getting rid of dead skin cells. Every time I use this scrub, my skin feels so smooth and clean.

Nivea In-shower Body Lotion

This is not the first time I’m using this product.

If you haven’t heard or tried this product before, basically what you do is you apply this lotion while you’re in the shower (of course after the shower gel) and you rinse it off before you get out. It moisturizes your body so you don’t need to apply an additional body moisturizer afterwards.

This saves a lot of time, as we all know that moisturizing, sometimes, can be a bit of a pain. Honestly I never enjoy the process of body moisturizing.  Either I get really hot or really cold after a shower and all I want to do is to get out of the bathroom and put my clothes on 😀 This means I often skip the part to moisturize! But trust me this never happens as long as I’m using in-shower lotions.

Burt’s Bees Intense Hydration Cream Cleanser

I don’t like using the cream cleansers always as I find they don’t always leave my skin as clean feeling as I’d like! But to be honest cream based cleansers are kind of essential for my face specially during this season. Reason, they are excellent for those with skin that tends to be dry during the cold season. Also the cream formulas are generally quite gentle.

I used this one for the first time and liked it so far because this cream cleanser  leaves my face not only clean, but soft as well. Although it wouldn’t stop me from using a moisturizer after cleansing. This cleanser does seem like it adds a bit of hydration to my skin.

Mario Badescu Rose Hip Oil

Rose hip oil is said to be full of vitamins, antioxidants and essential fatty acids that are known to correct dark spots and hydrate dry, itchy skin, all while reducing scars and fine lines.

As my skin’s getting older, I am noticing increased hyper pigmentation, specially on my facial skin. Since I heard a lot about the benefits of rose hip oil (in this area) so I decided to give it a try.

When I first started using this product, I had some breakouts and I immediately decided to stop using it. But after few weeks I thought to give it another try (since I spent $22 on this tiny bottle and didn’t want to toss it away just like that!). So what I did I started using it only around my mouth area (where the most hyper pigmentation is), and after few days I actually noticed a little improvement everyday!

Long story short, I figured this product reacted to my skin initially because my skin is a little sensitive. According to the usage instructions, they recommend to apply this oil 2 times a day, which of course was a little too much for my skin so I’ve started using this oil  once a day now, preferably in my night time skin care routine. And it works for me!

E45 Repair and protect overnight hand creme

This E45 Repair & Protect Overnight hand cream is a winter savior and heal the cracked and ashy appearance of your hands that happens during the cold weather.

It’s quite light as a hand cream and it absorbs nicely, so no greasy hands, and it is a good dry skin treatment. It is scentless and has a silky texture. It really helps with dry hands! All I can say is I love this overnight hand treatment.

So, this was all in my this month’s favorites. Have you tried any of them?

What are your New Year Eve’s plans? Would love to know everything about it 🙂

I wish y’all a very Happy and Blissful New Year! See you  soon next year… umm… I mean in my next post 😀

Until then…
