Urban Decay VICE ‘Sheer Liar’ Lipstick Review & Lip Swatch

Recently, Urban Decay has revamped its lipstick collection. The famously known brand repackaged 120 colors in a bullet-shell-inspired case, out of which 20 are Sephora Exclusive Shades. There are a total six finishes/formulas available:

Comfort Matte Formula
Sheer Formula
Metallized Formula
Mega Matte Formula
Sheer Shimmer Formula
Cream Formula

These lipsticks are formulated with Shea butter, cocoa seed butter, jojoba and avocado oils to soften lips.

I purchased shade Sheer Liar in Vice Lipstick Range for a price of $17.00 (USD) for 0.11 oz. of product.

It is a pinkish-nude shade with a Sheer finish. It’s a very soft, medium-dark rosy brown shade with warmer undertones and a natural sheen. It has a semi-sheer color coverage that applies evenly and smoothly with a lightweight texture.

The formula is very hydrating, creamy and moisturizing that blends very well. The pigmentation is good which goes on perfectly in one swipe, but you can build it up if you want to.

I wear “Vice Sheer Liar” as my new everyday go-to lipstick. It adds a little color, shine and extra moisturizer to my lips. Though it does not feel sticky at all.

This shade works as a neutral for my complexion, however it must be reapplied after eating & drinking. The pinky nude shine looks just so natural and perfect. It’s neither too light nor too pale. The shine makes my lips look fresh and healthy!

I can say I’m totally obsessed with my new fave! None of my other lipsticks can be compared with this beautifully natural shade.

What are your views about it? Would love to hear all 🙂
Until then…

  1. I’m so happy you shared about this lipstick because I’ve been wanting to read a review on it, since I saw it in Vogue a couple of days ago! I love the color you’re wearing and the color selection is awesome, too, I have my eyes on that red shade! Thanks so much for sharing and I hope you’re having a great day so far!
